What the desk watches

Every layer is built from public data — transponders, satellites, agency feeds and the open press — cross-checked and scored, with the origin one click away.

Conflict & protest events

Armed clashes, strikes and unrest geolocated from open sources and GDELT, scored by severity.

Military aircraft tracking

ADS-B military flights over the globe, next to bases, airfields and airspace hotspots.

Ships & maritime risk

AIS vessel positions, chokepoints, strategic ports and live piracy incident zones.

Cyber threat wire

CISA advisories and security reporting mapped to targets and actors.

Hazards from satellites

Thousands of sources, credited on every story

GlobeAlert does not write the news. It scans open sources, classifies each story by threat level, region and category, and links back to the publisher.

What is OSINT — and why a map?

OSINT (open-source intelligence) is intelligence built from information anyone can access: news reporting, government advisories, satellite fire and earthquake data, aircraft and ship transponders, research papers and public databases. The hard part was never access — it was volume, verification and context.

GlobeAlert is an OSINT platform built for that problem. Every incoming item is classified by category and threat level, geolocated, cross-checked against other sources and placed on the same globe as the live sensor layers, so a strike report, the military aircraft nearby and the affected chokepoint appear together. The Analyst then answers questions about any of it, citing the sources it used.

It is used by journalists, analysts, security teams, travellers and people who simply want to understand the world without waiting for a summary. The free tier includes the feed, the core map layers and two Analyst questions; Pro unlocks every layer, country intelligence, unlimited analysis and a daily brief.

Is GlobeAlert a free OSINT tool?

Yes. The world map, the news feed, live channels and two Analyst questions are free. GlobeAlert Pro unlocks all 45+ layers, country intelligence reports, unlimited Analyst questions and the daily brief.

Where does the OSINT data come from?

From public sources only: press and wire feeds, agency advisories such as CISA, UN and WHO, NASA FIRMS and USGS sensor data, ADS-B and AIS transponders, GDELT and security research. Every story links to its origin.

How is this different from an OSINT tool list?

Tool lists give you twenty separate websites. GlobeAlert fuses the same public data into one live map with cross-checked, scored events and an analyst that cites its sources.

Can I track military aircraft and ships?

Yes. Military ADS-B flights and AIS vessel positions are live layers, alongside bases, airfields, chokepoints, ports and piracy risk zones.

Is there an OSINT app for phones?

Yes. GlobeAlert is available for iOS and Android with push alerts; the web version works in any browser.
