U.S. slaps 10% tariffs on goods imported from India over issue forced labour

The new tariffs are a result of the findings of its investigations on whether the U.S.’ trade partners were doing enough to prevent the import of goods made using forced labour. A separate investigation on excess capacity is pending and could attract further tariffs
