Mexico confirms that drones shot down by the U.S. were used to traffic migrants

Drones used by traffickers for surveillance were neutralized by the U.S. Army near the border with Mexico, the Defense Ministry reported. The operation, which used laser technology, marks a milestone in border cooperation given the increased use of unmanned aircraft.
