Man held after laundry capsules dumped into pond, killing catfish and injuring turtles

Hong Kong police have arrested a 42-year-old man after he allegedly dumped laundry capsules into a pond, killing a catfish and injuring 30 turtles in Ma On Shan, the South China Morning Post has learned. Police said on Saturday that officers were alerted on Wednesday by a security guard who found a large amount of foam in a pond at a residential estate on Kam Ying Road where turtles were kept.
